ICYMI: The Philippine Experience goes to Ilocos Region!

The Philippine Experience recently concluded its tour of the Ilocos Region held from March 19-21, 2024. Delegates explored the provinces of Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, and Pangasinan.

The region proudly showcased its rich culture, history, and natural beauty. Aside from breathtaking scenery and delicious delicacies, environmental conservation efforts were also highlighted, as witnessed in the release of pawikan hatchlings back into the sea.

In a speech, Tourism Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco emphasized the the importance of supporting local programs for tourism.

“We brought [the PEP delegation] here so that subsequent to this wonderful ‘Philippine Experience’ they can work with our national and regional officials to ensure that we continue to support your local programs for tourism by coming up with sellable tourism packages that will bring in even more tourists from various jurisdictions all over the world and other areas in the Philippines,” expressed Sec. Frasco to her audience.
