In Part 1: Partners in Craft, two companies in Albay, GSG by Flora Creatives and RCB Crafts and Designs, show how meaningful collaboration can sustain local crafts. Meanwhile in Davao, TADECO Home continues to create new applications for pineapple fiber for home products and weaving.

The Pinyapel Flagship Project will be presented at the Sustainability Solutions Exchange 2022 (https://sustainability.ph) on 23-25 March. Under the creative direction of Tony Gonzales, it features an expanded network of raw material suppliers, processors, and product development partners presenting artisanal and industrial manufacturing for the home, fashion and packaging sectors.

This project builds on the Pinyapel pioneering collaboration in 2019, which bagged a Wood Pencil for Future Impact in Environment and Sustainability at the prestigious D&AD Awards.
